Polly Beeman Legacy Society Fund
The Polly Beeman Legacy Society is a forward-thinking group of Symphony supporters who have declared their intent to remember the Symphony through a will, trust, or other planned gift. The Society provides a way for the Symphony to recognize and thank these donors during their lifetimes and ensure that their wishes are correctly understood and documented. It was named for one of Glens Falls’ strongest supporters of the arts, whose many generous gifts helped build a secure foundation for the future growth of the Glens Falls Symphony.

Members of the Society don't all have large incomes or vast estates. Their interests in life are richly varied. But they all share a belief in the value of a vibrant Glens Falls Symphony- one that enriches our community today and can continue for future generations.

A vision for tomorrow. With benefits to enjoy today.

Involvement in the Society gives you the opportunity to enjoy the company of others who, like yourself, care about leaving a legacy to protect the Glens Falls Symphony. Benefits include:

• A relationship with the Symphony and other donors during your lifetime
• A role in shaping how your legacy gift will be used to help sustain the Symphony
• Recognition in Symphony programs and annual reports (with your permission)
• Satisfaction in knowing you're not just planning to help the Symphony, you're helping the Symphony plan

de Blasiis Chamber Series Donations

The de Blasiis Chamber Music Series mission is to discover, encourage, and present the finest possible musical talent in the northeastern New York region.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit devoted to producing outstanding artistic musical performances for audiences with great enthusiasm for history and the works.

The de Blasiis Series grew out of the efforts of the two de Blasiis sisters, Giovannina, a pianist, and Virginia, a violinist. The women, along with various guest artists, regularly put on house concerts and eventually began performing at the courtyard at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, NY.

When the contemporary wing of the museum was opened, the concerts were relocated inside the Hyde Collection to the 130-seat Helen Froehlich Auditorium, where we still perform today!

The de Blasiis is one of the oldest running chamber music series in the United States, and we do not plan to stop anytime soon.

Thank you for your support in helping this historic organization continue for many years to come!

Summer Appeal 2026
Supporting the Glens Falls Symphony means contributing to the core of our community. It means holding a place for future generations of musicians and music lovers, while keeping the arts alive and well in the greater Glens Falls region.

The Symphony has been playing for this community since 1983, from classical music to our Holiday Pops, Symphony’s in Crandall Park, Family Concerts and annual Children’s Concerts for over 2,000 area school students. Attendance has grown in recent years, as more people discover the magic of live symphonic music.

We are filled with gratitude for this community’s overwhelming show of support, but we can’t rely on ticket sales alone to fund our work. In fact, most symphonies’ ticket sales cover just 1/3 of their costs— we are no exception. But these hurdles won’t stop us, and we’re still inspired to build on our achievements and realize a long-term vision that includes additional concerts, increased outreach to rural and low-income families in the Adirondack Park and programs in the surrounding communities. To do that, we need your help!

Our individual and business donors know that donating to the Symphony means investing in a community where their friends, customers and employees live and work. They recognize the importance of the Symphony to upstate New York cultural and economic vitality and, in turn, enhance their visibility and strengthen their reputation as community leaders. Please join us in celebrating and supporting the arts in Glens Falls by donating to YOUR Glens Falls Symphony this summer.
