DONATION CAMPAIGNS
La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club

Our supporters power La MaMa's essential mission to bring the work of bold, unconventional artists to our audiences, both in-person and digitally!

You can be a part of our 63rd Season of experimenting and meeting artists and audiences where they are - here and around the world.

La MaMa is a 501(c)3 non profit and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
Capital Campaign
The $24 million capital renovation of La MaMa's landmark building at 74A East 4th Street has preserved its historic façade and transformed its interior with ADA accessible spaces, flexible performance venues, and a data-wide building network to facilitate cross-cultural engagement across distance. While the building is officially reopened to our community, we're not done yet!

Join Harvey Fierstein today to help us close our remaining $3 million funding gap to ensure that underrepresented artists of different identities, ideologies, and aesthetics will have a creative home in the East Village for decades to come.

La MaMa Umbria
La MaMa Umbria International provides artists from around the world with residency programs and intensive workshops. For 25 years, La MaMa Umbria has fostered cross-cultural and international exchanges and creative collaborations. Hundreds of artists have found Umbria to be a space that is beautiful, spiritually enriching, welcoming, and open to bold artistic experiments. We need your help to make the residency as inclusive and affordable as possible.

All donations are welcome and will help us maintain our programming and facility in Italy. Please be as generous as you can. Thank you!

Donations to La MaMa Umbria International are tax deductible as allowed by US and Italian law.

Support The Trojan Women Project
The Trojan Women Project sends artists from La MaMa to work with artists in communities worldwide who have a desire to use theatre as a means for addressing the issues and themes presented in The Trojan Women. The project uses the music and staging of La MaMa's groundbreaking 1974 production of The Trojan Women, composed by Elizabeth Swados, directed by Andrei Serban, performed by the Great Jones Rep and produced by Ellen Stewart.

La MaMa Archive Preservation
Donations go directly to getting critical climate control for the La MaMa Archive. All donations will be matched by a National Endowment for the Humanities grant.
