Recently, all grant funding for arts and cultural organizations was eliminated from the State of Florida budget via a single stroke of a red veto pen. This decision affected hundreds of organizations who provide a quality of life we’ve all come to expect in South Florida, including GableStage.
We are actively working to eliminate an anticipated $70,500 shortfall in our budget because of this veto, and your support brings us one step closer to ensuring GableStage continues to be a leader in our community.

Joseph Adler: A Legacy

As GableStage’s Producing Artistic Director of more than 24 years, Joseph Adler was courageous, outspoken, steadfastly committed, and above all grateful for the opportunity to work on the stage. Described as a “transformative titan,” and the “Godfather” of Florida’s theatre scene, his career included directing at many South Florida theatres.
