Cash Reserve Match
We’re very excited about the future of Steep, and so is the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation! They’re helping Steep establish a cash reserve, which will provide the financial stability we need to grow as artists and as an organization. To establish this reserve, the Donnelley Foundation will match every new or increased gift we receive, up to $10,000!

Now is the time to join Steep’s exceptional community of supporters – whether you're a new donor making your first gift to Steep or one of our stalwart supporters making an additional gift to this special campaign, your donation will have twice the impact and will help us tell new stories for years to come. We hope you’ll consider making a gift to Steep today.
Steep Theatre Company
Your tax-deductible donation will make a world of difference for our theatre company and for our community. With your help, we can continue to make great art while creating a home for discourse, empathy, and connection.
Access Ticket Fund
Steep is committed to knocking down the barriers that stand between people and theatre. One of those barriers is financial, and to help shrink that barrier we offer 10% of our tickets for each production at the affordable price of $10. With a gift of just $15 you will underwrite a single Access Ticket and make our work accessible to an artist, a student, a first-time theatre-goer, or anyone who may otherwise be unable to experience the joy of live theatre.
Support Steep's Artists
Steep Theatre is an ensemble wholly committed to our artists and the incredible work they create on stage. We are constantly working to better support and compensate our artists, and your gift can have a major impact on this goal.
New Play Development
If you're interested in being a part of the development of new plays and emerging theatrical voices, please consider making a gift to Steep Theatre.

Steep has a long history of bringing new stories and new theatrical voices to Chicago audiences and has produced almost exclusively U.S. and Midwest premieres since opening its Berwyn Avenue storefront in 2008. In recent years the ensemble has focused its energy on cultivating and supporting the development of new work. The 2015 world premiere of Hamish Linklater’s The Cheats was a landmark production for Steep in its journey to become a home for new play development. This journey is ongoing, and all at Steep are excited about upcoming work in new play development.
