The 19th annual Penn State Jazz Festival will take place April 6 and 7, 2018. Performances will be held at the State Theater, downtown State College, Pa on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm.
This year’s festival will feature the multi-award winning New York Voices performing with Centre Dimensions as well as world renown jazz pianist Xavier Davis and trombonist Jay Ashby. Friday night April 6th will incorporate small group jazz with these fabulous guest artists as well as the Penn State SOM Jazz faculty and Inner Dimensions. Saturday April 7th will bring the NY Voices, Xavier Davis and Jay Ashby together with Centre Dimensions Big Band under the direction of jazz studies director Marko Marcinko.
