As a not-for-profit theatre, ticket purchases cover less than half of our operating costs. Please round up your total and partner with us to produce the shows, special events, and education programs that enrich our community! Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Jewel Club Season 27 Fiscal Year 2025/2026
JEWEL CLUB is a group of Rubicon supporters who are also theatre enthusiasts. Jewel Club members go behind-the-scenes and enjoy elite-level access to Rubicon actors, directors and designers, as well as invitations to theatrical social events in private homes and fine restaurants. 

By making a three-year tax-deductible commitment, you make it possible or Rubicon to plan in advance, allowing us to book hard-to-get shows (including regional premieres of Broadway or Off-Broadway hits) and to sign artists of renown before their in-demand schedules are full.

This fund provides access to professional theatre training programs for all students of the arts in our region.  By contributing you’ll be helping Rubicon maintain its educational programs. All donations to this fund are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for your support.

•  Print ads (minimum of 6 in the VC Reporter, Independent and Ventura Breeze)
•  Email Blasts (minimum of 8 to 13,000 patrons, including one feature about your generosity)
•  Website Festival Page (with hyperlink for businesses if desired)
•  Press Releases
•  Radio Spots: Mention in rotation at end of Ventura LIVE ’25 Summer Festival spots (minimum of 40)

•  30 VIP Tickets: House seats of up to 6 per show for any performance in the Festival

VIP Experience/Receptions: 
•  Complimentary access for you and up to 5 guests for any announced VIP experience (including where offered signed CD’s for your guests, themed food and beverages, etc.) 

 If you are attending a show that does not have a scheduled VIP experience, a backstage meet-and-greet and photo opportunity will be arranged for you and your guests with advance notice with wine and light appetizers.

As our fiscal year and our "Dare to Dream Season" ends, we pause to reflect on an extraordinary season of shared stories. Together, we were swept away by the Irish dance and poignant romance of Once and embraced the spirit of the Old West with the new musical concert Cowboy Lullaby. Through a first-time partnership with The Acting Company in New York, we looked back at the Civil Rights movement with August Wilson’s powerful play Two Trains Running in rep with the hilarious Play On! adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. We pondered infinite possibilities in Constellations, laughed and cried through the World Premiere of Crazy Mama, and thrilled to the acclaimed reimagining of the Broadway musical Bonnie & Clyde. Our summer youth camps and shows and Ventura LIVE '25 concerts and events have also offered remarkable shared experiences.

Rubicon productions are more than an evening’s entertainment. They are opportunities to sit side-by-side as a community—neighbors, friends, and strangers—experiencing something profound together. In a world that often feels divided, theatre is one of the rare spaces where we gather in the same room, share common stories, and see our own hopes and struggles reflected onstage. Theatre builds bridges. It reminds us of our shared humanity. It strengthens the fabric of our community.

And its impact extends far beyond the walls of our theatre. Rubicon creates jobs for artists, designers, technicians, and staff—talented professionals who in turn support local businesses and enrich the region with their presence. Each production draws patrons to Ventura’s restaurants, shops, and hotels, infusing vitality into our local economy. Professional non-profit theatre not only inspires hearts and minds—it helps sustain the place we all call home.
